	The hero of this tale, Matthew is a skilled Earth adept like his father Isaac, who led the famous Warriors of Vale. Matthew is a person of few words, but strong convictions.

	Name: Karis (US) / カリス Karis (JAP) Age: Element: Jupiter Battle Style: Mage Parents: Ivan
	This young Wind Adept is a longtime friend fo Matthew and Tyrell. She inherits keen observation skills and an indominable spriit from her father Ivan, who was once a Warrior of Vale.

	Name: Tyrell (US) / テリー Terry (JAP) Age: Element: Mars Battle Style: Warrior Parents: Garet
	Tyrell is a Fire Adept, following in the footsteps of his father, Garet. He has a reputation for being a troublemaker, but Matthew is still proud to call him is best friend.

	Name: Rief (US) / クラウン Kuraun/Crown (JAP) Age: Element: Mercury Battle Style: Mage Parents: Mia Siblings: Noble
	This Water Adept has traveled the world, seeking knowledge pertaining to Alchemy and other traces of the ancient world. Rief is an apprentice under the tutelage of Kraden.

	Name: Sveta (US) / ステラ Stella (JAP) Age: Element: Jupiter Battle Style: Warrior
	Sveta is an Adept whose form was mutated following the Golden Sun phenomenon. With her heightened sensitivity, she uses Psynergy to read thoughts and detect odors that others cannot sense.

	Name: Eoleo (US) / レオレオ Leoleo (JAP) Age: 30~ Element: Mars Battle Style: Warrior Parents: Briggs and Chaucha
	This young pirate has succeeded his father, Briggs, as the scourge of the Eastern Sea. He has been captured by Morgal forces and is being held in Belinsk.

	Name: Amiti (US) / ハルマーニ Harumani (JAP) Age: Element: Mercury Battle Style: Mage Parents:
	A Water Adept of royal lineage. His origins are shrouded in mystery, and he seems to have his own difficult destiny to rise up to.

	Name: Himi (US) / ヒミ Himi (JAP) Age: Element: Venus Battle Style: Mage Parents: Susa and Kushinada
	This young Venus Adept is daughter to Susa and Kushinada of Yamata. She supposedly possesses remarkable powers.

Antagonists

	Name: Blados (US) / スペード Spade(JAP) Age: Element: Battle Style: Warrior
	This Tuaparang commander is a master swordsman constantly looking for a fight. He works closely with Chalis in manipulating Matthew's group into accomplishing their own sinister goals.

	Name: Chalis (US) / テリー Terry (JAP) Age: Element: Battle Style: Warrior
	This woman brims with a beauty that is rarely seen among the people of Angara. She is partnered with Blados, subtly pushing Matthew and his friends to accomplish their goals.

	Name: Arcanus (US) / エース Ace (JAP) Age: Element: Battle Style: Warrior
	This masked man is apparently in league with the Tuaparang. While he currently cooperates with the Tuaparang, his goals in doing so remain mysterious. Although the Warriors of Vale seem to know his face, his true identity and nature are shrouded in mystery.
